Our Team

Since 1997, John Wieringa has been proudly helping individuals, families and businesses create, protect and manage wealth. John joined Investment Planning Counsel in 2000 and has built his practice by coaching his clients by providing strategy, planning and guidance with their financial decisions and goals.

Prior to joining IPC in 2000 John grew up on the Wieringa family dairy farm. After earning his Civil Engineering Technician degree, he worked for a Civil Engineering firm in St Thomas for 10 years. In 1997 he changed career paths and entered the financial services industry and started Wieringa Financial.

John’s passion is working with his clients and building long-term, genuine relationships.
